El proceso revolucionario portugués: ¿un modelo a seguir para “la izquierda de la izquierda” española?

The generic studies about the impact of the Portuguese revolution at the end of Franco’s dictatorship and the beginning of the Spanish Transition are increasing historiographical tendency, due to important evidences of their influences. This influence is based on the same geostrategic reality and the traditional mutual concerns between the Iberian states. However, there is a field in this matter that is still less investigated, such as the net effect that this exceptional process had in certain parts of the Spanish society. Thereby, we pretend to find the radical left reactions about the Carnation Revolution and the subsequent Ongoing Revolutionary Process, when the main Spanish left parties (including the PCE) started to be opposed to the Portuguese democratization path. These reactions could be different in all these leftist organizations that kept “revolutionary” in that moment, or refused the “Eurocommunism”, like the Spanish Communist Workers’ Party (PCOE), Workers’ Revolutionary Organization (ORT), Spanish Work Party (PTE). According to this aim, we are trying to identify the vision they had of what happened in Portugal as well as the influence both in their ideological corpus and the political practice of the Spanish "left of the left".Los estudios genéricos sobre el impacto del proceso revolucionario portugués en la España del final del franquismo y comienzos de la transición son una tendencia historiográfica creciente ante las notables evidencias de su afección. Afección fundamentada en una misma realidad geoestratégica y ante las tradicionales influencias mutuas entre los Estados ibéricos. Sin embargo, lo que sigue siendo un campo de estudio a desarrollar es el efecto concreto que dicho proceso tuvo en determinados sectores de la sociedad española. En esta ocasión, pretendemos identificar las posibles posturas contemporizadoras con la Revolución de los Claveles y el posterior PREC en España, que a partir de 1975 llegó a despertar suspicacias en los partidos mayoritarios de la izquierda española. Es por esto por lo que, para encontrar identificaciones positivas al respecto y una ausencia de discurso crítico, haya que recurrir a aquellas organizaciones que no habían renunciado a los métodos revolucionarios ni abrazado el “eurocomunismo”, remitiéndonos necesariamente a las principales organizaciones situadas a la izquierda del PCE, tales como la Organización Revolucionaria de Trabajadores (ORT) y el Partido del Trabajo de España (PTE) –antes llamado PCE (i)–. Fijándonos también en la escisión pro-soviética del PCE, el Partido Comunista Obrero Español (PCOE). Con este punto de partida pretendemos identificar la visión que tuvieron de lo acontecido en Portugal así como la influencia tanto en su corpus ideológico como en la praxis política de la “izquierda de la izquierda”
